Rob Howard uses pen and watercolour to draw buildings and landscape. He graduated in architecture and fine arts from Cambridge University and has run a consultancy in, and researched the use of, computers in architecture and building. From involvement in the application of computers to graphical work he has developed an interest in stretching the laws of perspective to provide wide-angle views of the colleges of Oxford and Cambridge. Since retiring he has painted all these colleges and the churches of South Cambridgeshire as well as views of buildings and landscape in many parts of Britain and other countries. |
